The 'Art of Parenting' @ 'Art of Play' - A CMYK Community Event

Last month, we had an amazing event for parents and kids at the Art of Play. Our goal was to create space for conversation and connection around the topics of parenting and raising kids..

Our CMYK Kids Director, Jenny Barkac, was on hand interacting with kids and parents. Ever alert for a child's cry or raised voice, Jenny focused specially on Teaching Children to Share. Despite the plethora of toys and activities in what is surely the best-equipped playroom in Billings, there were lots of teaching opportunities. As Jenny methodically circled the room during the two hour open house, she alternately spoke to parents and children, teaching and encouraging both.

As you can see by the photos, we had a good turnout and a great time. We're planning to schedule another Art of Play event in 2019. For those wanting to attend, we'd love to hear whether you prefer a Monday evening or a Sunday afternoon time slot.
